at Broadway at the Beach, Fat Tuesday is smack in the middle of the section
which houses all the bars. Regardless from which direction you approach the watering
holes, you cant miss it. Broadway at the Beach is a family destination with
many unique shops, rides, restaurants and even mini golf. Once the sun goes down,
the bars show their face. Fat Tuesday has two faces, an outdoor lounge which
overlooks a water fountain as well as the main walkway for all the shops. The
indoor space has all that you need in a bar- darts, stools and a time ravaged
bar top accompanied by several lively bartenders that are quick to joke and
recommend other good bars. A word to the wise, or unwise…whatever one is
called that doesn’t know what grain alcohol is. Fat Tuesday has something to
offer to those who do not drink frozen drinks, the king of frozen drinks. A
wall to wall selection of frozen drinks mixed with grain alcohol. The first time I had one of these drinks
I had to think long and hard about where my hotel was. There is a ton of
different varieties and a sample of as many as them as you wish will be
provided to you. So next time you are walking by Fat Tuesday, treat yourself to
a unique drink. Order a large 190 Octane with an extra tooter and call a cab.
